Submit Your 2018 CCCAOE Fall Conference Breakout Session Proposal

Before you submit your proposal, please review the proposal requirements, the criteria for selection and the Conference Strand descriptions.

All proposals must be submitted by June 15, 2018.
Please enter the email address where you wish to receive your proposal submission confirmation that will be sent to you upon completion of these steps. If you are unable to find this confirmation email, please make sure to check your spam and junk folders.

Submission Process Overview

All mandatory fields must contain information to proceed.

You will be asked the following items:

  • Select Strand: choose from a drop-down menu
  • Title of Presentation: 50 character’s maximum
  • Presentation Background and Target Audience: select from available options
  • Proposal Description: 500 characters maximum (This will be used in conference program) Please check for errors and content description.
  • Highlight the equity, adequacy and opportunity; innovation and student learning; leadership through advocacy; and funding, finance and facilities implications of your topic: 400 characters maximum
  • Supplemental information: you can upload up to 2 pages of additional information
  • Enter presenter’s name, title, affiliation, contact information

Required Presenter’s Information:

  • Maximum of 4 presenters including the Moderator
  • Double check the contact information is correct and complete to ensure receipt of future communication
  • If you do not have full contact information for a presenter at the time of submission, enter “tbd”.
  • Remember, your proposal will not be considered complete until the “submit” button is selected and you receive an email confirmation letter with an assigned proposal ID number.

CCCAOE reserves the right to edit titles and descriptions for use in conference publications.

Objective and Description

Description:  Enter the proposed description of your presentation. Your description should be an accurate description of what you intend to present.  It should be written to interest CCCAOE members and reference any or all of the below:

  • Innovation or program success
  • Replication/sustainability
  • Impact on student success/retention/graduation
  • Leadership through advocacy
  • Funding, finance and facilities
  • Equity, adequacy and opportunity

Proposals must clearly identify the learner’s outcome, takeaways, tools and strategies attendees will have at the end of the session.

Subject to final editing by CCCAOE.  Remember that sessions run concurrently so attendees must be able to see at a glance what your session has to offer.

Presentation Format

CCCAOE equips all session with a LCD projector, a large screen, a microphone, a head table set with four chairs, and audio projection capabilities.  (Each panel will need to bring their own laptop.)

Lead Contact
Lead Contact must be a presenter. CCCAOE will only contact the Lead Contact with information regarding the proposed breakout session. Lead contact will be responsible for contacting their presentation team regarding scheduling, etc. All presenters are must register to attend the conference.
Additional Presenters (Limit to maximum of four presenters)
The contact person above agrees to the guidelines for submitting proposals and to inform all presenters that they are required to register and pay the conference registration fee and that neither honoraria nor expenses will be paid to program presenters. Presenters who attend for one day are eligible for a special conference rate.
