Robin Harrington (Perkins Statewide Lead), JeanClaude Mbomeda (Perkins Accountability Lead), and Laura Casillas (Perkins Leadership Lead) from within the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office are presenting a pre-day 4-hour workshop to provide technical assistance in “Managing Perkins funding and Managing Perkins Accountability.” 

The workshop is designed to give CTE Deans, Coordinators and Accounting Personnel and Faculty who management or request Perkins funding an overview of expenditure and cost guidelines, policies established by the Chancellor's Office, a review of the online reporting systems and accountability in the areas of core indicators, and allocation methodology. The following is a general overview of workshop content.

  • Overview of Chancellor’s Office Perkins policies (three-year rule, out-of-state travel, etc).

  • Interpreting Data Element on Report 1 & 2
  • Perkins Allocation Methodology
  • Overview of Headcount Coding and Submission
