Automotive Instructors – Hybrid Vehicle Technician Program (MiraCosta)

POSITION AVAILABLE:
MiraCosta College Office of Community Services and Business Development is seeking automotive instructors to teach hybrid vehicle maintenance, diagnosis, and repair. The persons in these temporary, hourly, grant-funded positions will instruct classes which meet on Friday nights and Saturdays, beginning March 2010 through May 2011 (end date of grant).

RATE OF PAY: $65 per hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The instructors must have both theory and hands-on knowledge of hybrid vehicles, and at least one year of successful hands-on work experience with hybrid vehicles.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with both domestic and foreign hybrid vehicles. Teaching and/or training experience.
