WE WANT YOU TO LEAD?
Past President, Mollie Smith
It is election time in CCCAOE, and we need our future leaders to step up. This is an exciting time to be involved in CCCAOE leadership. Our decision to hire a legislative liaison in Sacramento has created new avenues and opportunities to impact CTE issues. There is much work to be done and need future leaders to fill the open positions. Are you ready to lead?
There are five (5) positions open for 2009-2010:
- President Elect
To serve as President-Elect means that you make a three year commitment to the organizational executive leadership. The President Elect chairs the Conference Committee and works in conjunction with the President and Past President guiding the organization.
- Secretary
The Secretary assists in the overall leadership of the organization, prepares records of all meetings of the Association, and prepares and disseminates correspondence and other communication required by the President.
- Vice Presidents.
The primary role of a Vice President is to facilitate communication between and among the Association’s members within their regions and to assist with the overall leadership of the Association.
The following three Vice President positions are open: Los Angeles/Orange County, San Francisco/Bay, and South Central Regions.
THANK YOU TO OUR VICE PRESIDENTS:
Special THANKS to the following individuals for their service as Vice Presidents:
- Erika Endrijonas, South Central Region
- Stephanie Thompson, San Francisco Bay Region
- Paul Creason, Los Angeles/Orange County Region.
And, THANKS to Tricia Evans for her service as Secretary to the organization.
We thank you all for your service and genuinely appreciate your time, effort and commitment to CCCAOE.
